To work with spatial information, our specialists create their own GIS editor. It contains sections: Carto CSS, Raster, Vector GL, Dataset.
Today we will talk about the Raster section.
It allows you to structurally upload all the necessary raster files of the project to the editor and see them there in the usual format of the file manager, and most importantly, instantly view the contents of the files immediately with a map on the right.
Even if a folder containing an array of fragments of raster images enters the editor, the editor allows you to view a generalized image of the entire array of fragments by clicking on the folder itself.
After entering the folder, the user can view individual image files immediately attached to the map.
For rasters there are functions of cropping and snapping.
When you first enter a folder with an array of raster images, the editor displays a console that demonstrates the process of initial processing of files by the editor and automatic generation of images for preview on the map. Upon completion of such initial file processing, a general preview image of the folder data is generated for the entire downloaded folder.
Now users will be able to work with raster data faster and more conveniently.
